BOWTS Site
To provide a shore side treatment facility at large Naval Base to treat a 250 GPM bilge and storage tank runoff water wastewater the U.S. Navy contracted Pan America Environmental to design and provide a Bilge Oily Water Treatment System (BOWTS) facility based on our BOWTS design. The facility consists of all treatment equipment, storage/EQ/LET tanks, all pumping systems, chemical make down and metering systems. Controls were effected via a PLC & HMI touchscreen control system based on an industrial MCC architecture as is typical for our large integrated BOWTS system designs.
