GTI Grease Trap Interceptors
Pan America Environmental GTI grease trap interceptors separate free-floating fats, oils and grease (FOG) and food solids from high-volume food processing and commercial kitchen wastewater, reducing the FOG load before further treatment or discharge to sewer.
- A removable stainless steel screen basket in the inlet chamber captures food scraps and solids
- A velocity baffle calms the incoming flow so grease can separate
- Immersion heaters keep grease liquid for skimming
- Disc or belt skimmers and a rotary wiper skimmer automatically remove floating grease to an external drum for disposal or recycling
- A full-length V-hopper collects settled solids
304 stainless steel tank with removable vapor-tight covers, designed for intermittent, high-rate flows. Designed to recover nearly 100% of free-floating FOG, with effluent at or below 100 ppm per EPA guidance. Emulsified FOG needs further treatment, so in our food plant projects the GTI is the first step ahead of ChemClear CT chemical treatment and a DAF or plate DAF.
