A copper and metals production company needed a parallel train treatment system to remove copper and other metals in a 200 GPM process stream. The client contracted Pan America Environmental for a complete SPC Slant Plate Clarifier, chemical pretreatment and controls. The entire system is elevated with an aluminum perimeter walkway and stairs system. Effluent is continuously monitored and sampled for metals and pH.
Upon installation and startup the system functioned as designed with expected performance. The 304 SS construction provides a long life, low maintenance design.The dual train allows full flow per train or reduced flow rates based on production demand.
Following installation of the system PAE assisted with a successful startup and followup training.
