The U.S. Marines contracted Pan America Environmental, Inc. to design and provide a large, parallel field equipment wash water treatment solution for its Camp Humphreys Marine base in South Korea for a high volume vehicle wash system.
The project consisted of four, parallel washbays including our container mounted VEW treatment systems with Mudblasters, PC feed pumps, VEWs, PSM recycle pressurization systems, high flow, high pressure pressure washers and centralized control systems. Each system provides 50 GPM process flow rate. A concrete collection sump was designed for collection and settling of the washwater prior to being pumped to the VEW system.
Following installation of the system PAE assisted with a successful startup, training and provided direction on operations and maintenance.
