Pumping systems are required with treatment systems due to the separation of contaminants. As contaminants are removed they collect within the treatment system and must be removed to external storage.
All pumping system required controls of some type and Pan America provides manual/automatic controls for ease of operator use.
Pumping System Types
Influent Feed Pump
Where raw waste water needs to be transferred from a tank or sump to the treatment system a pumping system can be provided. Typically, there are three pump types that can be used where contaminants are subject to shearing effects. The three pump types are: air operated diaphragm (AOD), progressive cavity (PC) and peristaltic hose (PH).
To pump treated water from the treatment system a centrifugal or other pump type can be provided.
To transfer skimmed oils/fuels from the oil collection reservoir a gear pump, diaphragm or progressive cavity pump can be provided.
When settled solids are collected in the treatment system V-hopper an AOD or PC pump can be provided.
Chemical Metering Pump
When chemical treatment is required with a treatment process solenoid actuated or motor driven diaphragm pumps can be provided to dose the desired chemicals.
